How to apostille a
birth certificate in Texas?
If you are already in possession of an original Texas birth certificate or a raised seal certified birth certificate copy that was issued less than 25 years ago all you have to do is mail or drop off your birth certificate at our Austin, TX office along with our expedited Texas apostille service order form and a prepaid return FedEx or UPS shipping label so we can mail your documents back to you.
If you don’t currently possess an original or raised seal certified copy Texas birth certificate yet (or it was issued over 25 years ago) you will need to order a new birth certificate certified copy from either Texas Vital Records/Texas Vital Statistics or from the Texas county where you were born at.
