As of 5/15/24 the Texas Secretary of State’s new walk-in policy is it may take them up to two business days to issue an apostille certificate after it’s been filed is only available if we receive your original or certified recordable document or a properly Texas notarized non-recordable document, a prepaid return shipping label, and our completed order form by mail or dropped off at our Austin office by noon CST Mon-Fri.
Please be aware that you or your company cannot be issued a Texas apostille certificate on any type of document from any person or company who states that they are located in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Fort Worth, or El Paso. The places or notaries you see advertising online with addresses in other cities are just opportunistic markup middlemen. The only place and city in Texas where you can be issued an apostille certificate is at the Texas Secretary of State located in Austin, TX.
