How do I apostille a
death certificate in Texas?
If you already have an original or certified copy Texas death certificate or a raised seal certified copy of death certificate that was issued after the year 2000 all you have to do is mail or drop off at our Austin, TX office the death certificate along with our expedited Texas apostille order form and a prepaid return FedEx or UPS shipping label so we can mail all your documents back to you.
If you don’t have an original or certified copy Texas death certificate yet (or it was issued before 2000) you will need to order another one from either Texas Vital Records/Texas Vital Statistics or from the Texas county where your family member passed away at.
